"I have heterochromia, obviously. My left eye is brown and my right eye is green. My hair is also two different colors. On the left side(with the brown eye) My hair is dark brown. And on the right side(with the green eye) My hair is blonde. The brown side is all the same color brown, getting a tad darker in the back. And The blonde side is REALLY blonde in the front and then goes to a dirty blonde in the back. Does anyone else have this as well? And do you know what its called or if it is associated with the heterochromia???? Please help! Its REALLY bugging me!! Thanks!"

Here we have a heterochromia patient. In this case, not only are the eye colors different, but the body and hair colors are as well. This is an example of heterochromia's various types. It does not always occur in the eye, but in the hair and skin as well. In this situation she belives the change in skin color and hair color to be completely new, but it is just as normal as heterochromia iridium (about as normal as mutations get). With the lack of melanin in the skin or hair, it is obviously more noticeable, making it a huge topic.
In the picture above we have a perfect example of this. Sure he probably doesn't have the best shot of having a date to the prom, but this is purely fascinating.
